ProxyMust – Proxy Checker & Manager

ProxyMust is a powerful and convenient proxy server manager with selective routing, testing, and automatic quality rating.

The extension allows you to flexibly configure when and for which sites to enable a proxy, automatically check their availability, and sort them by rating.

🚀 Key new features:

• Four operation modes – direct connection, selective proxy (by rules), always on (with exceptions), and system proxy.
• Flexible rules – domains and subdomains, URL patterns, regular expressions, exact URLs, and CIDR ranges. Rules can be created manually or imported from GFWList / SwitchyOmega.
• Proxy testing – four types of checks: accurate (slow), express, cyclic (full switching), and express‑cyclic. Tests can be run for all proxies, selected ones, or the current site.
• Enhanced privacy – by default, your real IP is not sent to external services (the option is disabled). All checks are performed via fetch without opening tabs.
• Automatic protocol switching – if a proxy does not work with the declared protocol (SOCKS/HTTP/HTTPS), the extension tries others by itself. Two modes are available: "Probable" (fast) and "Full" (all variants). Enabled in settings.
• Built‑in test log viewer – now you see every step: IP retrieval, site check, proxy status, transitions. The log is available both on the settings page and in a separate window from the control panel.
• Rating and statuses – each proxy receives a numeric rating (+1 for success, –1 for failure). A status for the chosen site is displayed next to each proxy: ✅ working, ☑ probably working, ❔ IP obtained (page not loaded), ❓ no data, ⛔ not working.
• Context menu – in the proxy table (right‑click) you can change rating, set priority (📌 pin / ⭐ star), export selected, copy addresses, delete, clear statuses, run tests, and move items in the list.
• Subscriptions – support for proxy list subscriptions (PlainText, JSON, CSV) and rules list subscriptions (AutoProxy/GFWList, SwitchyOmega) with automatic updates.
• Automatic switch to Direct when saving a subscription – no need to manually switch if a profile with a non‑working proxy is active.
• Auto‑save subscriptions – after adding a list, changes are applied immediately.
• Synchronisation and backup – synchronise settings via browser or WebDAV, full backup and restore.
• Themes – light, dark, auto (follows browser theme), and custom CSS themes.
• Keyboard shortcuts – quick switching between proxies and profiles (configurable in the browser).

• IP transmission control – in settings you can enable or disable sending your real IP to external services (disabled by default). You decide how accurate the tests should be.
• Tab‑less testing – all checks are performed via fetch requests, without opening tabs. This is faster, does not clutter history, and prevents accidental file downloads.
• The extension does not collect or transmit any data – the only external requests are to IP services (only if you allow them).
• Open source code – you can always review the code on GitHub.

• Built-in test log viewer – proxy test progress is now displayed in real-time both on the settings page and in a separate popup window. The log shows every step: start of check, IP retrieval, site availability, final status, and transition to the next proxy.
• Country flags in logs – a country flag is displayed next to the proxy address (based on IP address).
• Full log localization – all messages, labels, and statuses are translated into all supported languages.
• Instant stop feedback – clicking the "Stop" button immediately displays a message in the log, informing you that cancellation has started.
• "Pin" button in the log window – attempts to keep the window on top of others: the window automatically focuses when new messages appear (but does not guarantee persistent "always on top" due to browser limitations). The pinned state is preserved for the window session.
• Log now updates in real-time – even when the viewer is hidden; all missed messages are displayed instantly when opened.

• "Enable direct IP detection" setting – disabled by default for maximum privacy.
• New status ❔ – "IP obtained but page not loaded". Displayed separately from indirect success and does not affect the rating.
• Tests now run without opening tabs – faster and more private.
• Improved indirect success logic – now more accurate when direct IP detection is enabled/disabled.
• Fixed test timer – long checks (hundreds of proxies) are no longer interrupted prematurely.
• Numerous optimisations and fixes – compilation errors resolved, duplicates removed, performance improved.

1. Install the extension from the Firefox store.
2. Add your proxy servers (tab "Proxy Servers").
3. Configure rules or profiles if needed.
4. Run testing to evaluate proxy quality.
