promptly

Promptly adds a toolbar button to Firefox that gives you a menu of customizable one-click actions for Claude.ai.

Instead of switching tabs, copy-pasting URLs, and typing the same prompts over and over, just click a button and Promptly sends your page to Claude with the right prompt, in the right project, automatically.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Browse the web normally
2. Click the Promptly icon in your toolbar
3. Choose an action (e.g., "Analyze Job Posting")
4. Claude.ai opens with your prompt ready to go

• One-click actions: send the current page URL or selected text to Claude.ai with a pre-written prompt
• Backlog mode: queue up multiple pages, then process them all at once in a single Claude chat
• Project targeting: link buttons to specific Claude.ai projects
• Auto-send and auto-close: fully hands-free operation if you want it
• Customizable: create your own buttons with any prompt you can imagine
• Shareable: export and import button configurations as JSON files
• Works with all Claude.ai plans (Free, Pro, Team, Max)

• Job search: queue up job postings throughout the day, then batch-analyze them
• Research: one-click to summarize, explain, or critique any article
• Writing: highlight text and send it to Claude for rewriting or editing
• Development: send documentation or error pages to Claude for analysis
• Learning: highlight any concept and get a plain-language explanation

Promptly stores all your data locally in your browser. No data is sent to external servers. The extension only interacts with claude.ai when you click a button. Your prompts, projects, and configurations never leave your device or your claude account.

Promptly comes with 3 example buttons to get you started. Open Settings to customize them or create your own.
