pour - Accessibility Checker & WCAG Audit

One-click accessibility checker: WCAG 2.2 audits, contrast checks, exact fixes, and vision, sensory and motor filters.

Features & Capabilities

pour is a complete accessibility checker for the pages you build and the pages you browse. One click runs a full WCAG 2.2 audit (Level A and AA) against the live page, with every finding tied to the exact element, a plain-language explanation, and a concrete fix.

WHAT IT CHECKS More than 80 original checks assist with the full range of WCAG success criteria: text alternatives, labels and names, colour contrast (including gradients, overlays and text over images), keyboard traps and focus visibility, target sizes, landmarks and structure, ARIA validity, moving content, and more. Cross-origin frames are audited too.

SEE WHAT YOUR USERS SEE Built-in vision, sensory and motor filters let you experience the page as others do: colour-blindness in all its forms, tunnel vision, macular degeneration, cataracts, blur and low light; sensory overload, visual stress and dyslexia-style reading effects; hand and resting tremor, pointer drift and keyboard-only browsing. All straight from the toolbar.

FAST, AND MEASURED Benchmarked on 138 live pages: a full audit of the typical page lands in tens of milliseconds, around four times faster than the engine most of the industry runs on, and finds around twice as many failing elements. The heaviest page tested, at 190,000 DOM nodes, audits in under nine seconds. Fast enough to re-run on every change without thinking about it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs inside your browser. No page content, URL or audit result ever leaves your machine. No account, no tracking, no server.

FOR DEVELOPERS AND EVERYONE ELSE Use the popup for a quick score, or open the DevTools panel for the full report while you work. Designers, auditors, content editors and curious readers get the same one-click answer: is this page accessible, and if not, exactly what to fix.

User Reviews

This thing is amazing - it is SO fast and it finds so much AND tells me how to fix it. It also has these amazing filter thingies that mean I can view the page through someone else's eyes - color blindness and all sorts of other conditions I'd never heard of. It ALSO has a bookmarklet so even when I don't have the ff plugin installed I can *still* run it. JUST AWESOME.
