What is Popout for YouTube™?

Popout for YouTube™ is a Chrome extension that adds a button to YouTube™ videos, allowing users to pop the video out into its own window. The resulting window contains the full YouTube™ player with all controls for quality, closed captioning, full screen, etc. Each video gets its own window, and the video can be resized to scale. This extension does not collect or use any user data, and the full source code is viewable on its website.

It doesn't work...

Not appearing anymore. I am currently on MacOS 10.12 and the popout icon has gone now, it used to be top right of the youtube window but no more, I have not upgraded to new mac os yet but shame its not available anymore, any help appreciated as I really like this tool
