I don't like 3-column layouts (too busy)
Hide "Trending For you" stuff – usually in the right sidebar
Attempt to hide "Promoted Tweets" – currently works, but don't count on it

Exactly what I was looking for - if you use a vertical monitor to manage your chat apps like twitter/discord etc this cleans up twitter a lot and keeps the chats in the one panel. Ideally Twitter would do this automatically for mobile layout but dont hold your breath.
