Auto hide next up card for Amazon Prime Video

Hides next up card and other obtrusive elements of Amazon Prime Video.

The "Auto Hide Next Up Card for Amazon Prime Video" Chrome extension offers customizable features to enhance your viewing on primevideo.com. It hides the next up card, skips ads, removes reactions (like/not for me), featured items, skip intro buttons, and ratings. The extension also prevents screen darkening and allows moving player control buttons to a more convenient location.

Users can adjust settings easily through an options dialog accessible via an on-screen icon, context menu, or keyboard shortcut (Alt + P). Additional features include forcing playback at the highest resolution, managing network activity to remove ads and enable autoplay, and ensuring smooth playback even when videos end automatically. Compatible across all Amazon countries but tested primarily on amazon.co.jp, this extension significantly improves your Amazon Prime Video experience.

User reviews

Users greatly appreciate the extension's ability to remove the annoying 'Next Up' card on Amazon Prime Video, restoring a clean viewing experience and allowing credit reading. The developer is praised for quick updates and responsiveness. However, multiple users report screen dimming near video ends, which seems tied to autoplay settings, and some face inconsistent extension behavior. There are also minor issues with leftover overlays and redirecting after videos end. Overall, the extension significantly enhances Amazon Prime Video usability despite a few quirks.
