I think it works really well. You can even search for incomplete words with an asterisk (*) at the end of the incomplete word.

Not the prettiest thing in the world but a whole heck of a lot better than what Google provides. Geez, for a search company you'd think they'd have something more than a text field and a scrolling list that always gets reset before you get to the date you want to see. Thanks History Trends Unlimited! Thanks to you, I was able to find the page I was looking for on the date I knew to look for it.

This is probably the best, most simple, most invisible when you don't need it, clearly present when you do, Chrome extension that I use. I've been using it for years and have years worth of data. I'm surprised at how often (at least 3 times a month) that I use what seems like ancient history from this data to find stuff.
