| 2024-10-29 |  | | en | It's become flaky. I appreciate how the developer modified the date/time option and is open to feedback but it's not deleting all the tweets despite adjusting the settings. The extension will NOT work in INCOGNITO mode (more below). The developer asked me to reply to their questions, but the reply feature has been removed in the Chrome Web Store, I need to delete my review and rewrite it. It's interesting that the extension is deleting most, but randomly not all tweets. I ended up deleting many manually. I have a feeling that if you select today's date but have no tweets to delete today it confuses the programming. Perhaps the developer can look into. I am not using any filters, rather just selecting replies in the settings. I am not sure what the developer means when they ask me what are the characteristics of the tweet. They are only (text) replies. Very simple tweets. I delete my tweets every few days. As far as which tweets aren't deleted, there doesn't seem to be any pattern. It's random and just from my last "deletion", some of my recent tweets (within the last 48 hours) are not deleted. Again, there's no particular pattern why many are deleted and some aren't. Additionally, the extension doesn't like it if you have an SmartDNS or custom adguard type DNS settings enabled. So now I disable all my other extensions and use Google DNS when deleting tweets, etc. as I feel it makes the extension more reliable. I haven't tried using the Cloudfare DNS. Finally, despite the extension updates, the extension will NOT delete when INCOGNITO mode which is concerning especially since it also won't delete [any] tweets using a custom DNS. To elaborate, the extension doesn't show the menu in INCOGNITO mode. I am shocked the developer writes to enable the extension in INCOGNITO mode. If you don't do that it won't even appear. The ISSUE with INCOGNITO is the extension simply doesn't work. Only a partial menu appears. Given the latest response from the developer and failure to test before responding I am going to have to remove one star. |
