Books for DC is a Chrome extension that allows you to determine the availability of books, ebooks, and audiobooks at the DC Public Library while browsing Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes and Noble. If a match is found, you can reserve the resource and see the number of copies available. Developed by the Books for DC project and affiliated with Code for DC and the DC Public Library.

If the extension finds a match, a link to reserve the resource is provided. You will also see the number of copies at the library and the number currently available. If the extension doesn't find a match, you can search the catalog manually.
