Books for DC is a Chrome extension that allows you to determine the availability of books, ebooks, and audiobooks at the DC Public Library while browsing Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes and Noble. If a match is found, you can reserve the resource and see the number of copies available. Developed by the Books for DC project and affiliated with Code for DC and the DC Public Library.

This extension was a great idea, and so far has worked flawlessly. Ideas like this are what gives me hope in the internet. Hopefully this could be expanded to include some of the surrounding MD and VA counties.
