Photo Vault: Hide Photos

Hide photos and videos in a private photo vault protected by PIN and biometrics. Move selected media out of your system gallery into encrypted local storage, with optional calculator disguise, decoy vault, trash restore, EXIF cleanup, and encrypted Google Drive backup.

Hide Photos is built for private media you do not want mixed with your normal gallery. Import only the photos and videos you choose, organize them in private albums, and keep access locked behind your PIN or system biometric unlock.

Your vault stays local by default. The app does not upload your photos or videos to our servers, and Google Drive backup is optional. If you turn on Drive sync, vault files and indexes are encrypted before backup so you can restore them after changing devices or reinstalling.

Hide photos, pictures, and videos in encrypted app-private storage. Imported media is removed from normal browsing inside the system gallery when you choose to clean originals after import.

PIN and biometric lock
Protect your private vault with a PIN and supported Android biometric authentication. Auto-lock and face-down lock help keep the vault closed when you put your phone away.

Calculator disguise and decoy vault
Use an optional calculator or calendar launcher entry when you want a more private app icon. A separate decoy vault can open with a second PIN, keeping harmless media separate from your main private vault.

Encrypted Google Drive backup
Connect your own Google Drive account to back up encrypted vault files and encrypted indexes. Hide Photos does not create a separate account and does not store your Google password. You can disconnect Drive or delete encrypted cloud backups from the Cloud Sync screen.

Privacy-first import
Hide Photos uses Android Photo Picker, the Android document picker, or the Android share sheet, so you choose the exact items to import. The app does not request broad media-library permissions on modern Android versions.

Album and storage controls
Create private albums, sort media, restore from trash, permanently delete items, review vault storage, clear preview cache, and strip EXIF metadata when exporting back to the system gallery.

Important notes:

- Remember your PIN and configure recovery options early.
- Use your own Google Account when enabling Drive sync.
- Deleting cloud backup does not delete local vault files.
- Uninstalling the app removes local app-private vault data.
- Calculator and calendar disguise are optional alternate launcher entries, not a system-management bypass.
