Mama Polka is an app for pregnant women and new mothers in Poland. It organizes official recommendations, benefits, and daily organization—from pregnancy to the first months with your baby—in one place.

Why it was created: Lengthy documents and official websites are difficult to navigate in practice. Mama Polka collects important information for your pregnancy week or baby's age and helps you make sure you don't miss anything—including services and tests you can use.

What's in the app?

• Tests and activities: A list of recommendations for the week, including National Health Fund benefits from official sources. You can schedule an appointment, record the result, and check off the completed items. After delivery, the list switches to activities related to baby care.

• Calendar and reminders: Appointments and activities in one calendar, plus local notifications so you don't miss anything.

• Medications and supplements: Dosage schedule, check-off for appointments, and reminders. Data stays on your phone.

• Home measurements: During pregnancy: baby's movements, blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, contractions, and well-being. Postpartum: feeding, sleep, diapers (including stool color), baby's weight, and pumping.

• Layette: A pre-delivery checklist with custom categories and items.

• Developmental Milestones: After birth, you check off milestones based on sources—at your baby's pace.

• Knowledge Compendium: Articles about pregnancy, childbirth, and care. Search by title or tag and save your favorites on your phone, even offline.

• Week-by-week: Pregnancy progress or baby's age, due date, baby size comparison, and content tailored to the stage. You can tag medical conditions to better suit your situation.

• Play Zone: Genetic crosswords, zodiac signs, the Chinese calendar, and name meanings—for entertainment only, not a substitute for research.

• Your Screens: Arrange the tiles on the home page to your liking. App lock protects your data when your phone is unattended.

mamaPolka Premium (optional) Subscription adds an encrypted backup for a new phone, PDF charts and summaries, a full overview of tests by trimester, and additional profiles (for subsequent pregnancies or subsequent children). Subscriptions can be purchased and managed in the store.

Privacy: Medical data—test results, medications, measurements, and medical conditions—are saved on your device. We do not send them to a server. The account is for logging in and subscribing, not for storing your records.

Important: Mama Polka is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of a doctor, midwife, or pediatrician. The content is for informational and organizational purposes. The play area does not predict the gender or health of the child.

The app is in Polish, designed with the care system and the realities of pregnancy and motherhood in Poland in mind.
