Tempo: Average Speed Check

Tempo adds average speed check assistance to the navigation you already use. It is not a map and replaces nothing: it runs quietly in the background alongside Google Maps or any other navigation app.

ON A SECTION, THE AVERAGE IS WHAT COUNTS
Average speed cameras do not measure your momentary speed - they measure the average over the whole section. Tempo measures it the same way: it detects the entry, anchors the measurement at the start point and shows your average since entry, the recorded limit and the distance left, with a progress indicator and an honest uncertain state when the GPS signal is weak.

BETWEEN SECTIONS
The screen shows your GPS speed and a simple meter: how many minutes going faster actually buys, and how quickly accident risk grows. Facts, no judgement. Plus the distance to the nearest measured section.

DATA YOU CAN TRUST
The section and camera database is built exclusively from official public data, with a public changelog and a verification counter. Data updates arrive without an app update.

Tempo can also:

- save trip history locally on your device,
- work without an account and without ads.

Manual trip measurement and the time dial remain free. Tempo Pro unlocks automatic trip detection and background start for one user on one phone. Monthly and annual plans are available. Purchases can be restored or refreshed from Settings.

Tempo informs about official speed enforcement infrastructure and guarantees nothing. Road signs and regulations always apply. GPS measurement may differ from the gantry system's measurement. Do not operate the phone while driving.
