BedrockTogether for Minecraft Android

BedrockTogether for Minecraft

Join Minecraft Bedrock servers on Xbox, PlayStation & console multiplayer

Features & Capabilities

BedrockTogether is a Chrome extension that enables Minecraft Bedrock Edition players on Xbox and PlayStation to join any Bedrock server as if it were a LAN server. This eliminates the need for complicated DNS rerouting and simplifies multiplayer gaming on consoles. To connect, users enter the server IP and port, start the app, then join the server via the game’s LAN tab on the Friends screen.

Currently, BedrockTogether does not support Realms or Nintendo Switch compatibility. The extension requires the console and the device running BedrockTogether to be on the same local network. It includes helpful troubleshooting tips and has an active community on Discord and Telegram for bug reporting. Note that BedrockTogether is a third-party tool not affiliated with Minecraft or its official owners.

Pros: cross-compatibility lets you play Java servers on Bedrock; generally useful; Donut SMP support; developers appear kind. Cons: pervasive ads disrupt gameplay and persist even for paid users; frequent connection issues and ad-triggered disconnects; reliability problems after restarts; slow Minecraft version updates; security concerns. Overall, the core feature is valued, but ads and instability undermine the experience.
