Butlo is a free app that helps you manage your coupons from the Polish deposit-refund system. After returning PET bottles, aluminum cans, or glass cans to the bottle vending machine, you receive a receipt-coupon with the amount to be used in the store. Butlo ensures that not a single one expires unused.

🍾 WHY BUTLÓ?

A deposit-refund system has been in operation in Poland since October 1, 2025. For PET bottles, glass bottles, and cans, you'll receive a refund of 0.50 groszy (PLN 1). However, coupons have an expiration date, and they can get lost in your wallet or tucked away between receipts. Butlo solves this problem in 30 seconds.

All you need is a photo of the receipt. Butlo automatically reads the amount, expiration date, and store—Lidl, Biedronka, Żabka, Kaufland, Carrefour, Auchan, Netto, Dino, and others. No need to enter anything manually.

On the home screen, you can see exactly how much złoty you have in coupons—ready to spend on your next purchase.

A list of coupons is sorted by expiration date: those that expire the soonest are at the top.

🔔 EXPIRY REMINDERS
We'll notify you 7 days before, 2 days before, and on the coupon's expiration date. Configurable—disable if you prefer peace of mind.
Notifications work even without internet.

🛒 SHOW CODE TO CASHIER
Open the coupon at checkout—Butlo will display a large barcode or QR code, and the screen will automatically brighten for easy scanning. After redeeming it, you mark the coupon as redeemed with a single tap.

Check how much money you've saved from the bottle vending machine in total. See how many PET bottles and cans you've already returned. Which store
