LifePrint Search Assistant is a Chrome extension that allows you to easily find how to say a word in American Sign Language. Simply type 'lp <word>' to go directly to that word in LifePrint.com/asl101 and learn the corresponding sign.

sadly this did not work for me at all. even after activating the search engine all I get is 404s ):

Works great! Here's (hopefully) clearer instructions for how to activate the search engine: From: Settings -> Manage Search Engines click Add 1st line (Search engine) type in: Lifeprint 2nd line (Keyword) type in: LP 3rd line (URL) type in (or copy->paste): http://lifeprint.com/search/%s Click Add button - that's it! Now when you type LP (case doesn't matter, just using uppercase here for clarity) and hit the spacebar, you'll notice it changes to say Search Lifeprint Type in your word & hit <Enter>.
