Context menu extension to convert links and selected text into QR-Code to share with your mobile phone. Offline OpenSource-Tool that enables you to encode and store urls and free text (UTF-8) as PNG- / SVG-Image file. Auto use of url and clipboard.

Features & Capabilities

PicIT encodes hyperlinks, URL addresses and free / selected text into QR-Codes to share them with a smartphone. With two clicks, the QR-Code is ready. Scan it on your smartphone and you can access a web page, web document or image directly. Not limited to urls you can share free text (UTF-8) too. Enables to store the QR-Code as PNG-/ SVG-Image file on your local filesystem. On direct click of he button, the address bar url will be used, on blank page (about:*) the clipboard content will be encoded. An Live-Edit field enables direct entering of free text to be encoded.

Offline The Tool don't store or transfer any data through the internet. Your usage confirmation is the only stored data, but this is on your device only.
