Phone Number Beautifier

Detects and re-formats phone numbers so that they are consistent, easy to read, and uniform across the page.

Are you tired of seeing phone numbers as one large unformatted number or seeing many phone numbers on a page that are inconsistently formatted or styled by multiple end users inserting their own phone number formats? Use Phone Number Beautifier to make them all look good using a consistent format.

Click on the "Phone Number Beautifier" extension button in the toolbar to beautify detected phone numbers on the page. To prevent false positive phone number detection, this addon will only parse phone numbers that match a complex regex expression and are found near elements that contain the text of "phone" or "#". If the text of "phone" or "#" isn't found near an actual phone number, nothing will change.

Please note that not all foreign phone numbers will be beautified properly for their respective country codes. I haven't figured out a way to do that yet. This addon is most useful for USA phone numbers, but it will attempt to beautify (often incorrectly) foreign country code phone numbers too.
