Phishing Protection

Phishing Protect blocks fake websites that imitate a site you trust — before they load, and before you can type a password into them.

Scammers register lookalike domains: misspellings, swapped letters, extra words, or a zero in place of the letter "o". They count on you not studying the address bar. Phishing Protect studies it for you, on every page you visit.

Getting started takes under a minute:

• Install the extension — the settings page opens automatically.

• Enter the domain of the website you want protected (for example, your bank, your webmail, or a community you sign in to) and a detection keyword — usually the site's name.

• Save. Protection is active immediately.

From then on:

• Any address containing your keyword — or a disguised version of it, including misspellings, swapped characters, extra hyphens or dots, and digit substitutions like "0" for "o" — is blocked before it loads, unless it's the genuine site.

• The genuine domain and all of its subdomains are never blocked or interfered with.

• Instead of the fake page, you see a clear warning showing the fraudulent address with the impersonating part highlighted, and a one-click button to the real website.

• Fake pages hidden in web addresses on other domains are caught too. Search engine queries are never flagged.

• If you're certain a flagged address is safe, an advanced option lets you continue — for the current browser session only.

Your settings sync across your signed-in browsers. The extension does nothing else: it doesn't read page content, doesn't track your browsing, and never sends anything anywhere. Every check runs entirely on your own device.
