Phiquo – Personal Quote Collec

Phiquo is a tool that will help you do precisely that.

Become yourself a collector of personally valuable quotes: sayings, proverbs, thoughts, or any kind of words you stumble across in your daily life that for whatever reason speak to you and you never want to forget. Store not only quotes that are appreciated by the wider public, but also words that mean something just to you. Collect philosophical thoughts that inspire you, book passages that enlighten you, speeches that motivate you, verses that touch you, film dialogues that amuse you, or even comments by your friends that you never want to forget. All in one app with many convenient and unique features for that very purpose.

Phiquo is not yet another app for searching endless online databases of famous quotes. Its purpose is different – to provide you with tools that will help you to
• COLLECT motivational quotes and other valuable words and thoughts and organize them into your very own personal collection,
• RECOLLECT words that once inspired you but you might have already completely forgotten about, and finally
• REFLECT on deep and meaningful thoughts that you would like to internalize.

With the features below rest assured that the words that have ever touched you will never end up being lost – like notes in between the pages of a dust covered book or in a long-forgotten file on your old computer – but will eventually pop up in Phiquo, lifting you up with all their might and an element of surprise.

★ Organize your collection with intuitive functionalities
In addition to intuitive standard collection management functionalities such as add, edit, browse, display, filter, and search, Phiquo also lets you organize your quote collection with your own set of tags.

★ Extract text from pictures and voice recordings
For convenient importing of text from written sources, Phiquo is equipped with an optical character recognition (OCR) tool – just take a picture of the paragraph you want to import and it will be in your database in a matter of seconds! And if you would like to import a speech, or you simply prefer speaking over typing, there is also a speech recognition import option.

★ Display random quotes
One of Phiquo’s hallmark features is the possibility to display a random quote on demand, either from your entire collection or from a filtered subset, which becomes increasingly practical as your collection grows. Start your day with a random motivational quote, meditate on a random philosophical quote, or cheer yourself up with a random funny quote – all straight from your own personal collection.

★ Share quotes with your friends
You can share quotes from your database with your friends through many of the popular messaging and social networking platforms.

★ Phiquo Widget
Phiquo comes with a widget that lets you display quotes on the home screen of your device. Either let it surprise you with random quotes or lock it to keep showing a particular quote.
