SmartCampus Exam

SmartCampus Exam is the official exam-taking companion for schools using the
SmartCampus Learning Management System (LMS). It's built specifically for
proctored assessments — helping your school run exams that are fair, secure,
and easy for students to complete.

KEY FEATURES

• Secure exam sessions — full-screen lock and monitoring for tab switches,
window changes, and other activity that could compromise exam integrity
• Works with your school's account — sign in with your existing SmartCampus
LMS account, no separate registration needed
• Rich answers — write essay and identification responses, and attach a
photo of handwritten work directly from your device
• Reliable, even on the go — upcoming exams are downloaded ahead of time, so
a spotty connection right before an exam won't get in the way
• One app, every school — automatically connects to your school's
SmartCampus environment after installation

PRIVACY & SECURITY

SmartCampus Exam only collects what's needed to deliver and monitor your
exam — your account details, your answers, and activity signals relevant to
academic integrity. We don't show ads, and we don't use third-party
analytics or advertising SDKs. See our full privacy policy for details.

On Android, the app also uses Android's Accessibility service during a
proctored exam to detect when another app draws a floating overlay (a
"chat head" style window) on top of the exam screen — a way students could
otherwise receive outside help that a standard app can't detect. The
service only identifies that an overlay is present and which app's
package is drawing it; it never reads, records, or has access to what
that app displays, and it cannot see or record anything you type or view
elsewhere. It's active only while an exam attempt is in progress.

REQUIREMENTS

This app requires an active account with a school that uses the SmartCampus
LMS. If your school hasn't set up SmartCampus yet, this app won't be useful
to you — check with your school administrator first.
