To function, this app needs way too much information and permission. Major red flags should raise when you need to accept it, basically, having complete access to your phone to use the app. No you don't need my contact list, and access to photos to update the sing list on my videoke.

For those with app not working... Grand Videoke made official announcement back in Oct 2023 that all services were being migrated to app 'TJ SmartApp'. As of 9/22/25, I can confirm this app is working fine. And yes, you will have to click 'Allow One Time' for ALL the options on first run. Otherwise it will just hang (not sure why). But was able to download and update to the latest firmware. Also have access to all the latest song albums, including several released this year. Hope this helps
