LiveJimaku is a transformative Chrome extension that enhances YouTube Live viewing by generating real-time subtitles from specific user's chat comments. With this, you can have user-defined transcripts for live streams, making it easy to follow and understand in any language when you specify a username of a volunteer translator. Its user-friendly design requires just clicking the icon in the chat field, pasting the desired username, and simply closing the icon to enjoy the subtitled video.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have used this for a couple livestreams and it is very easy to use and works perfectly on both Chrome and Edge browsers.
A couple things I would like to see implemented if possible is the ability to add more than one user and customization options like being able to adjust the subtitle box position, background color and opacity, text size and color, etc.
