Summary
Si un proxy te impone un horario y cuota o te restringe el acceso a Internet pero admite el dominio maps.google.es puedes usar esta extensión para que cuando detecte que el proxy bloquea la web a la que intentas acceder te redirigía directamente a http://maps.google.es/gwt/x?u=URL donde URL es la dirección deseada; lo cual te devolverá una modesta pero funcional vista simplificada de la web que quieres ver.
Adicionalmente también puedes ir a chrome://settings/searchEngines y cambiar tu buscador por defecto por este otro http://maps.google.es/search?q=%s
