Persona Identity Generator Firefox

Persona Identity Generator

Generate a random identity and autofill signup forms.

Features & Capabilities

Persona generates a random, realistic-looking identity — first and last name, username, disposable email address, and a strong 24-character password — and fills it into the signup form on your active tab with a single click.

Use it for: • Throwaway accounts on sites you don't trust • Testing your own signup flows
• Avoiding reuse of personal details across random services

Features • One-click generation in the toolbar popup • Autofill for first name, last name, username, email, and password fields — including "confirm password" fields on signup forms
• Disposable email addresses on public services like guerrillamail.com and grr.la • Strong passwords generated with the browser's Web Crypto API
• Copy all fields to your clipboard with one click
• Completely offline — wordlists are bundled in the extension

Privacy Persona never transmits any data. It does not track you, does not phone home, does not sync, does not store anything between sessions, and does not load remote code. The only permissions it uses are activeTab and scripting, and only when you click "Fill current page".

Is Persona Identity Generator Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Persona Identity Generator requires very minimum permissions.
