USAGE DASHBOARD Click the extension icon to see your remaining quota at a glance: • Pro Search — remaining vs. total with progress bar • Labs — remaining vs. total with progress bar • Deep Research — remaining vs. total with progress bar • Model-specific limits — shown automatically when available Cards display used/total (e.g. 5/170) with remaining count and a turquoise progress bar that fills as you consume your quota. On first install, only your remaining count is shown. Once your cycle resets, the extension infers your true cap and displays both numbers. MODEL MISMATCH DETECTION Continuously monitors the current Perplexity chat for display_model vs user_selected_model. A green dot on the extension icon means models match; a red dot means a mismatch was detected. The popup shows the exact model names (e.g. Display: turbo · Selected: claude-4-6-sonnet). NO PERPLEXITY TAB REQUIRED The extension fetches usage data directly using host permissions — no need to keep a Perplexity tab open. PRIVACY No data is sent anywhere. All processing is local. Rate limit data is only fetched when you open the popup. The only network requests are to perplexity.ai itself using your existing session.
