Synchrony is a social app that connects people based on the percentage of similarity between their interests. Instead of continuously displaying profiles, the app calculates who shares the most with you across more than 77 interests organized into eight categories, including sports, music, food, travel, entertainment, lifestyle, art, and personality.

How it works: The user chooses their search area, whether it's their city or anywhere in the world, and activates an active search window. During this time, the app compares the user's interests with those of other available users and determines the best mutual match. When a match is detected, a Synchrony is formed between both users, displaying their photo, age, bio, and the exact percentage of affinity calculated.

Proximity Radar: Once a Synchrony is formed, the app offers a real-time radar that shows approximate distances and directions toward the other person, such as about three kilometers away or 50 meters to the right. Neither user's exact location is shared or displayed at any time, guaranteeing the geographic privacy of both parties.

Greeting and Conversation
Communication begins with an initial greeting sent by one of the users. If the other responds within a certain timeframe, an open conversation is enabled between them. This mechanism prevents the sending of unsolicited messages and ensures that the chat is only activated when there is confirmed mutual interest.

Available Plans
The app offers a free plan with a limited number of monthly searches and search mode for any location. It also offers monthly, quarterly, and annual subscription plans that include priority in the matching process, a reduced wait time to become available again after a rejected or expired match, the option to choose between searching locally or anywhere in the world, and unlimited monthly searches. New users automatically receive a seven-day trial period with the features of the paid plan, linked to the device used.

Privacy and Security
Each user's precise location remains protected and is never directly shared with others. Each account's information is protected by row-level security policies, limiting data access to only authorized users based on their relationship within the app. The app does not include third-party ads or pop-up ads.

User control
Users can block or hide conversations at any time and can request the complete deletion of their account and all associated data, including profile, interests, messages, match history, and saved location.
Synchron is designed to help people find connections based on genuine shared interests by combining a calculated matching system, an approximate geographic proximity layer, and a conversation model based on mutual consent.
