Pros

Allows the user to open a clean mini-window for various applications like, Pandora, Spotify, GMail and Calendar without any tabs, search or bookmarks
Position of the mini-window can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically
Extension makes muting faster and easier

Cons

Does not stay on top and there's no way to configure this addon to change that behavior
There's a bug that causes pop out windows to disappear when more than one is opened and set to full screen
Experienced some functionality issues in recent versions

Recent reviews

Panels in Chromium have been dead for a while, but this extension is still useful. You can probably just set the resultant pop-up to be always on top, either from the button or by the context menu. For me I right click>more actions>keep above others, but it may differ for you. See if your system offers that mode!

Doesn't work. Just opens up a new window that doesn't stay on top. Panels were already enabled in chrome flags.
