Play against other people for the title of Dominus or form an alliance and help your lord win. Grow in power by conquering castles. Gain vassals until you can overthrow your lord and climb the tree to become the Dominus.
Dominus is a social MMO browser strategy game with simple mechanics. Games last anywhere from a day to a month. Designed to not require a huge amount of time to play. Give your troops their orders then check back later to see the results.
Become the Dominus to win the game. To become the Dominus, everyone else in the game must be your vassal. To gain a vassal attack someone's castle. If you win then you become their king or lord and they become your vassal. Kings and Lords collect tax income from their vassals.
Before you attack a castle build villages that harvest resources from the surrounding lands to raise your income. Build your villages next to large resources hexes for maximum income. Win country Capitals for even more income. Make sure to defend them, other players might try to destroy them and take your spot.
Current game modes include Relaxed – slow game, Normal, Speed – faster movement and income collection and Crazy Fast – very, very fast troop movement and income collection, almost like a real RTS. Choose the mode that suits you the best and see you in the battle field!
