Password-Toggle is a tiny Firefox extension that allows you to make the contents of password fields visible by pressing the Shift key three times, so you can check your input.

The extension also handles dynamically added input fields; so it should work on all websites.
The extension doesn't add elements to websites, so it can't interfere with the layout.
Important: this extension relies on keydown and keyup events, so it may not work with touchscreen devices.

Security: "Access your data for various websites" sounds dangerous, but the extension uses this permission only to search for password input fields and equip them with the show/hide feature. The password text itself is never touched.

Mein erster Eindruck: Hilft sehr beim Aufräumen älterer Accounts, die manchmal jahrelang nicht benutzt wurden, und hilft, Ordnung auch im eigenen "digitalen Wohnraum" zu halten. Und scheint trotz Verwaltung sensibler Daten ein sicheres Tool zu sein. Danke für dieses Tool! :-)
