TWO TRANSLATIONS, THREE TYPES
Synodal and Church Slavonic from azbyka.ru — both with stress marks. Church Slavonic can be read in the familiar civil script or in the liturgical script — with Slavic letters and titles, as in church books. Switch between translations with a single tap.

INTERPRETATIONS OF THE HOLY FATHERS
Under each verse is a patristic commentary from the first centuries to the 20th: St. John Chrysostom, Blessed Augustine, St. Ephraim the Syrian, St. Theophylact of Bulgaria, St. Athanasius the Great, A.P. Lopukhin, and others. A brief commentary appears by tapping on the verse number; the full commentary appears on a separate screen.

LITURGICAL CALENDAR
The Epistle and Gospel readings for the day, according to the church charter, are opened with a single tap; the desired range of verses is highlighted directly in the text. Feasts, fasts, and saints' commemorations are available for the year ahead.

RESTORATIONS
The readings are marked directly in the text—"[Recitation 11.]"—as in liturgical books. In liturgical mode, the table of contents shows all 335 New Testament readings—tapping opens the reading on the desired verse, with the range highlighted.

ANNUAL READING PLAN
Read the entire New Testament in a year. The app automatically suggests a daily portion and tracks your progress. You can start from any date and skip weekends.

READING REMINDERS
Individual reminders for the Apostle and the Gospel—at selected times in the morning and evening. Tapping a notification opens the day's reading.

BOOKMARKS AND NOTES
You can add a bookmark or personal note to any verse. Everything is stored exclusively on your device, without the need for cloud storage or registration.

ONE-HANDED NAVIGATION
Tapping on the sides of the screen scrolls the page; tapping in the center opens full-screen mode. Enabled by default, can be disabled in settings.

SIX THEMES
Light, dark, sepia, prayer book "paper," dynamic Material You, and a custom palette. Font size, line spacing, justification, syllable hyphenation in both the Church Slavonic and Russian languages ​​are adjustable.

SCREEN KEEPING AND BRIGHTNESS
The screen stays on while Reader is open. The brightness slider is adjusted separately for reading and can be set below the system minimum—convenient for nighttime reading without changing the phone's global settings.

No internet permissions required; all content is already on the device. Works on airplanes, monasteries, and subways. No telemetry or tracking devices.
