Since the official endorsement of the government as a teacher organizations, IGI continues to concentrate on improving teacher competence. For IGI, end of the base of all the problems of education in Indonesia is on the low competence of Indonesia both professional competence of teachers, pedagogic competence, social competence and personal competence.

Under the leadership of Chairman and Secretary General Muhammad Rahim Ramli Mampuono, IGI are like flying high in the improvement of teacher competence and organizational development. IGI is now present in 34 provinces in Indonesia with more than 400 districts / cities. None week throughout February 2016 to the present that is not filled seminars, workshops, training or symposium except during Eid.

Only a year IGI successfully conduct workshops and training involving 156,000 teachers and 575 coaches and 17 channels of teacher training.

Of the 100 organizations under the auspices of the IGI, some of which are already moving across Indonesia for example, the Association of Teachers Subjects (IGMP) Indonesian organized TOC literacy productive and Training Sagusaku based tablets in 34 provinces in Indonesia with a target of 1700 books from the 1700 teachers in 10 months, and Subject Teacher Association (IGMP) maths Training will organize Sagusacpad and the paradigm shift of calculating mathematics into thinking mathematics in 50 districts / cities in Indonesia.

Vocational education will be the focus of special attention to the IGI, 64 IGMP-based SMK has been formed and will work together in groups of teacher expertise to develop the ability of other teachers. With the help of Samsung's technology, all will be much easier.

With the presence of Samsung Smart Learning Class in Makassar, IGI can focus more on developing the ability of a specific teacher on the subjects they are powerful.

For the use of tablets, IGI will hold Indonesia Tablet Learning (ITL) in 34 provinces in Indonesia to encourage innovations in tablet-based teaching. IGI hope pembelejaran patterns in school who used chalk and markers to laptop to tablet to a total switch in the next four years. Of course, this movement needs the support of various parties so that the learning fun, exciting and far more effective can be realized.
