Tressette is the most popular card game in Italian cafes: the one played on Sunday afternoons, in family tournaments, in partnerships where a glance at your teammate matters more than the cards in your hand.

You, your partner, and two opponents. Italian or French deck — your choice. A game ends when one team reaches the points you set at the start: 11, 21, or 31. Nothing more.

The three opponents are bots, and they're not pushovers. Each has a personality: the beginner makes mistakes; the master is unforgiving; the "tilter" plays poorly when losing patience. They have memory: they track who called a knock, who failed to follow suit, and they remember. When you face the Master bot, expect to lose a few rounds before finding cracks.

A LITTLE HISTORY
Tressette started as a modern port of TressetteXP, an MFC C++ game from 1997 running on Windows 95. The game engine is still that one: 10-bit bitmasks, knowledge inference, emotional "tilt" system for the bots. What you see on your phone is a fresh rewrite in TypeScript, with the same soul.
