Tarombo

Tarombo app is a free smartphone app to record your genealogy. By logging in with a free GitHub account, you can record and manage together your extended family tree. So, you can share the genealogy that you created with other people so that other people can also add or correct the data. The changes you make can be accepted by them, and the changes they make can be reviewed and accepted for inclusion in your genealogy.

The word "tarombo" comes from the Toba Batak language. The Batak people are known to place great importance on genealogy. This application is not specifically for Batak genealogy, but "tarombo" is deliberately chosen as the name of the application to make it more unique and easy to find than the name "genealogy" for example. This application itself is a tool and you build the data yourself. In the future, this application will be equipped with features that are specific to the genealogy of tribes in Indonesia, which are not found in common genealogical applications.
