The ‘MKCL Knowledge Foundation’ has launched a unique initiative titled ‘Marathi Sahityasrushti’ (The World of Marathi Literature). The primary objective behind this endeavor is to bring together all Marathi enthusiasts-including writers, readers, publishers, budding authors, and bibliophiles-onto a single unified platform. Furthermore, an accompanying mobile application for ‘Marathi Sahityasrushti’ is also available.
Currently, the reading habits of the younger generation-as well as those of the Marathi-speaking diaspora scattered across the globe-have undergone a complete transformation. They now consume literature via their mobile phones, dedicated apps, and various digital media channels. While several websites have long existed to facilitate the online purchase of books "Why create ‘Marathi Sahityasrushti’ anew?" This platform functions as both a live web portal and a mobile app; however, it is neither a mere online library nor simply an informational directory. The web portal features direct links to publishing houses, thereby enabling the direct sale of books. All proceeds from sales are deposited directly into the respective publishers' bank accounts.
