Saggitorde

This Pular-French dictionary that we put at your disposal has more than 10,000 main entries + sub-entries and many illustrative examples. The corpus is essentially based on the pular variant of Fouta Djallon in the Republic of Guinea. However, in many cases, equivalences in dialect variants of other regions (FT = Fouta Toro, M = Macina, L = Liptâko, A = Adamawa) are indicated. The dictionary is the result of data collection that began three decades ago and is still ongoing. Like any lexicographical work, it is indebted to previous works which are:

To this are added our own notes as well as the use of sound data such as the Taali e Tinndi of the unforgettable storyteller and great master of the Fulani language Amadou Sow.
