RoadAmp is software that surveys the quality of roads by analysing sensor data.

All you need to do is place your phone in a car phone holder vertically and press Start. Wait until the Ready state is true and then just drive. The software will sense badly uneven roads and add to your account.

The account created is generated anonymously but be sure to keep hold of the code to lookup your results on https://roadamp.com.

You'll need GPS active as well as a data connection. The data transferred uses very little of your data allowance.

Uneven roads and potholes can cause vehicle damage and can also cause accidents. This app was made to aid reporting of dangerous roads to help minimize these. You can see the severity of the hazards on the website http://roadamp.com by seeing the size of the circles on the map.
