2024-06-15	Ro*****	This app has worked quite well for the past 2 years, but suddenly now crashes or closes when trying to connect. I admit, by "Quite well", I'm allowing for random disconnections rather than running in the background, but at least it did not crash, and it was usable. My guess is that with a number of recent changes to Android 14, perhaps, enough has changed that the app is unstable as of May or June 2024. Or, admittedly, it might be a problem with my pixel 7 pro.

2023-11-13	W *****	I can't give zero stars. App refuses to Bluetooth connect to a £400+ X8 portable audio recorder. The app also wants to spy on where you are on the planet demanding location switched on. Therefore wasted additional money on the not cheap Bluetooth adapter for the recorder.

It disconnects when the app is minimized and it takes a long time in connecting when you are on a wedding event I bought the Tascam X8 and the Bluetooth module to have wireless control The Bluetooth feature works fine quen I am about 1 meter close to the atascam X8 And if I minimize the app, it needs to connect again, which is a shame PLEASE make the connection stable, consistent and quick 🙏

2023-01-16	Et*****	Works as it should, but it took me quite a while to figure out that it needs your location. The app refuses to connect without it. I tend to keep my location turned off to preserve battery, plus I'd rather not be tracked. A fix would be appreciated.

The app connected once but will not connect again no matter how many times I reboot everything and reinstall the app. The Portacapture shows up in the Bluetooth list, I only allow the app to pair the unit like the instructions explain but will not reconnect to the unit. The app in the play store indicates my phone is compatible. Disappointing since it was awesome for a minute the one time it connected.
