ODL is the official application of the Local Demographic Observatory of Honduras, designed for authorized municipal technicians who conduct demographic data collection in households.

── WHO IS IT FOR? ──────────────────────────────────────────────

This application is for the exclusive use of surveyors, supervisors, and administrators registered in the ODL system. Access requires credentials assigned by the local administrator of each participating municipality.

—WHAT YOU CAN DO—

• Complete survey forms in the field, without needing a constant internet connection.

• Record demographic information about households: family composition, housing, occupation, education, migration, and agricultural variables.

• Synchronize the collected data with the central server when a connection is available.

• Consult the history of synchronized surveys. • Manage multiple ballots per workday.

── WORKS OFFLINE ───────────────────────────────────────

ODL stores data locally on the device while working in the field.

When a connection is restored, the interviewer synchronizes everything with a single tap. No information is lost due to lack of signal.

— SECURITY AND PRIVACY —

Data is transmitted encrypted using HTTPS. Passwords are stored securely, and access is controlled by roles. All collected information is for institutional use and is handled in accordance with the privacy policies available at odlhn.org/privacy.

This is an institutional application. A username and password are required, which will be provided by the local administrator of the operation in your municipality.
