APK Manager is a straightforward file-management tool for the APK files on your own device. Browse a folder you choose, see what each file is, install it through the Android system installer, and back up apps you already have — all locally, with your confirmation every time.

APK Manager never downloads apps from the internet. It only works with files that are already on your device or with apps you have already installed. Every install goes through Android's own system installer, so you always see the standard confirmation screen — nothing is ever installed silently or in the background.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Browse APK files in a folder you pick — no broad storage permission, just the folder you grant.
• See details before you install: app name, icon, package, version, and whether it's a new install, an update, or a downgrade.
• Install a single .apk through the system installer with one tap.
• Install app bundles — .apks, .xapk and .apkm — where an app ships as several parts. APK Manager picks the parts that match your device and installs them together in one step.
• Back up an installed app to a file you can keep or reinstall later. Apps that ship as app bundles are backed up as a complete .apks so they can be reinstalled in full.
• Share an APK or backup with another app.
• List your installed apps, search and sort them, open app info, or uninstall (the system asks you to confirm).

PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS
• No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no backend.
• Reads only the folder you choose (Storage Access Framework) — no all-files access.
• "Install unknown apps" is used only when you tap Install, and Android always shows its own confirmation.
• A banner ad supports development; you can remove ads with a one-time purchase.
