Virtue and properties of Surah Al-Waqi'ah
The fifty-sixth chapter of the Qur'an is called the event, which has 96 verses.
It has been narrated from the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): Whoever recites this surah, it will be written that he is not one of the heedless.
This surah is one of the surahs in which the news of the Day of Judgment and its circumstances are mentioned and it is one of the reasons for the aging of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him and his family. Ibn Abbas says: A man asked the Messenger of God: Why did you grow old so soon? He replied: Surahs of Hood, events, messengers, Naba have made me old.
It is narrated from Imam Baqir (as): Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi'ah every night before going to bed while meeting God, whose face shines like the moon of the fourteenth night.
Imam Sadegh (as) said: Everyone is eager for Paradise and its features to recite Surah Al-Waqi'ah.
Imam Sadegh (as) said: Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi'ah every Friday night, may God love him and also put his friendship in the hearts of all people, and during his life he will not see misery and hardship in this world, and he will be harmed by the harms of the world. He should not be one of the companions of the Commander of the Faithful (pbuh) and this surah has a characteristic of the Commander of the Faithful (pbuh) in which others do not share.
