Slip Studio - Shape Clay

Slip Studio is a calm place to shape clay.

Pull a vase, a bowl, a cup, or a bottle from a slow-spinning wheel. Pinch a pair of amphora handles onto the sides and drag to shape them. Trim the foot at leather-hard. Pour two glazes for a soft top-to-bottom gradient. Scratch through with a needle for a carved sgraffito pattern. Fire it in the kiln and watch the raw chalky coat melt into a glossy finish. Keep what you make in a quiet portfolio that lives on your device, not on a server.

There is no progress bar. There are no daily quests, no streaks, no notifications. Slip Studio is a studio, not a game.

WHAT YOU SHAPE
• Four starter silhouettes: vase, bowl, cup, bottle
• Throw clay on a contemplative, slow-turning wheel - clay feels heavy and lags your finger like real wet stoneware
• Pull twin amphora-style handles onto the pot and drag them to widen, shift up or down - the handles attach automatically at the belly + shoulder and reshape as you sculpt
• Add a matching lid in three styles: flat, domed, or tall — shape pot and lid in tandem, fire as a set
• Trim the foot at leather-hard for a clean profile

HOW YOU DECORATE
• Glaze in 16 colors — painterly, three metallics, an iron red, a pearl, a true cobalt
• Optional second glaze for a soft top-to-bottom gradient: primary at the rim, secondary pools in at the foot
• Paint with brushes, splatter, ten stamp shapes, or eight repeating overlay patterns
• Sgraffito (carve): scratch a needle through the glaze to reveal the clay underneath, with real groove depth from the bump shader
• Eight paint colors, three brush sizes that stay constant as you zoom

THE KILN
Cinematic ~4.5-second firing sequence. The chamber closes around the scene, glows warm, melts the raw glaze to a glossy finish, and opens onto a fired pot. Save it, photograph it, or start again.

PHOTOS WORTH KEEPING
A built-in photo composer renders your pot at print size, on three styled backgrounds — a studio shelf, a sunlit window, or a museum plinth — square for a feed or tall for a phone wallpaper. Share the file or save it straight to your photos.

PAID ONCE. NOTHING ELSE.

The app launches into an immersive view — no status bar, no navigation bar, just the wheel and the clay. The whole interface fits one thumb. Pinch to zoom, drag to spin, two-finger pan to look. Re-wet the pot any time before you fire.
