GoStash: Places You Want to Go

Every place you want to go, on one map.

A cafe you saw on Instagram. A restaurant a friend mentioned. A view you want to catch someday. You save them somewhere — and then you never find them again. GoStash is built for the second half of that: making the places you stashed easy to pull back out.

■ Share it straight in
Found a place in a social app, a browser or a maps app? Tap share, pick GoStash, and it is saved with the link. Paste a URL and the title and image fill themselves in.

■ Your map, your groups
Every place you save becomes a pin. Make the groups you actually think in — "Ramen", "Kyoto trip", "Date nights" — and give each one a color and an icon from a library of 130. The pins on the map take that look, so you can read your map at a glance. Filter by group, or flip to a list of the same set.

■ Remember why you wanted to go
A place is more than a name. Keep the feeling ("Curious", "Want to go", "Must go", or labels you write yourself), a rating, up to five links, a note, a photo, and a target date at whatever precision you actually know — a day, a month, or just a year.

■ Going there does not erase it
Mark a place visited and it stays in your stash as a record of where you have been. Nothing disappears, and the ones still marked "not yet" are easy to dig back out.

■ Search, save, navigate
Search a place by name and save it on the spot — the address and the pin come with it. When you are nearby, one tap hands it off to your maps app for directions.

■ Share a group with a code
Show a friend the group you built for a trip, or fill one in together — either way you just hand them a code. View-only and edit-together are separate codes, so you decide what each person can do. Groups you have not shared stay invisible to everyone, and your notes and feelings are never shared, even on a group you do.

■ Start without an account
Open it and start saving. No sign-up. Link an Apple or Google account later from settings and everything you saved before comes with you. Only you can read what you save — unless you share a group yourself, and then only the people you handed the code to.
