User Reviews
Pros
- Engaging and interesting story set in ancient Rome that keeps players hooked.
- Unique and refreshing historical fiction text adventure with compelling fight scenes.
- Multiple playthroughs offer some replayability and different story choices.
- Clear stats system and understandable plot with a decent and satisfying ending twist.
- Well-written narrative with enjoyable characters and intriguing concepts.
Cons
- Lack of save points or checkpoint system causes frustration due to frequent restarts after dying.
- The story becomes linear in the middle and choices often lead to the same outcomes, limiting player agency.
- Romance options are limited, feel forced or insignificant, and do not meaningfully impact the story.
- Inconsistent or random status checks affect gameplay fairness and player strategy.
- Ending is rushed, leaves many questions unanswered, and feels like a cliffhanger without clear indication of a sequel.
Recent reviews
This one is a lot of fun. It's a bit railroaded in terms of the narrative, but the diversity of how choices affect the immediate story makes that just fine. I think it is hilarious that there is an achievement for cheating. Unpacking and modifying these games is fairly straightforward, so it's definitely doable. My only issue with the game is that some choices to disobey lead to immediate death forcing you to start over. It's sometimes hard to know which ones will do this.

The story starts off well, but then after you pay to continue the story falls flat. The choices are one dimensional and the writer mocks you for picking the more interesting out of the lack luster options. Your stats are just about useless and they are inconsistent. Your race and class have no real use in the story. The fight scenes and the connection between the main love interest was very interesting. Update with, added actual character building descriptive options, more legendary characters.
