♿ Accessibility Service Usage Disclosure

gCaller uses the Android AccessibilityService API strictly to support its core operational functionality.



Why Accessibility permission is required:

• To reliably detect incoming and outgoing call events

• To ensure the app remains active in the background during calls

• To display relevant student and parent information immediately when a call is received



What the Accessibility service does:

• Monitors call state changes (incoming and outgoing calls)

• Helps prevent the app from being stopped by the system while calls are active



What the Accessibility service does NOT do:

❌ Does NOT record calls or audio

❌ Does NOT read screen content unrelated to calls

❌ Does NOT change system settings

❌ Does NOT bypass Android privacy controls or notifications

❌ Does NOT collect personal data without authorization



🔐 User Privacy and Control
