The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), established by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India in 1966, is the apex organization representing the gems and jewellery industry. With autonomous status since 1998, it supports nearly 6,000 exporters nationwide. Headquartered in Mumbai with regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat, and Jaipur, GJEPC facilitates close interaction with members across major industry hubs.

GJEPC actively promotes the sector through trade events such as the IIJS Premier Show, IIJS Signature Show, and IGJME, among others. It plays a vital role in boosting India's export presence in gold, diamonds, and jewellery worldwide, offering extensive services and support to industry exporters.
