it used to be a good app, but for some reason they changed it to be just their website in the app. it even has a link to download the app in the app. even if it did work, its so so slow and theres ads everywhere

honestly pretty disappointed with the obligatory subscription that was added. I didn't mind donating a little money once in a while, but having the whole service locked behind a paywall just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

The app is acceptable - no frills, a few ads but nothing intrusive, does what it says it does. You write a message to your future self, it arrives in your specified inbox on the required date. However, I did not enjoy the pricing trap. They say "$2 for a year!" and it turns out that gets you one letter a year. It's $12 a year to send as many letters as you want. Perfectly reasonable, but they should be honest about it.
