The (free) application serves as a guide for young people and young adults when choosing professional fields and professions for their personal professional future. It serves as an accompanying instrument for face-to-face career orientation events at the participating schools, is intended to inform users about the variety of options and guide them in a personal selection and decision-making process.
This works like this:
After registering by entering basic personal data and logging in, users have access to information and descriptions of 15 professional fields into which the available training occupations are structured.
After extensive individual work with it and attending an explicit information event, the task is to select 3 from the 15 professional fields which are particularly interesting for the user and which (could) be considered as a professional perspective. The selection is made directly in the app in the personal area.
After selecting three favorite professional fields according to priority, users are informed via the app of dates and locations where 3 further face-to-face information events (one for each selected professional field) provide in-depth information on the associated professions in the professional field as well as content, prerequisites, requirements and opportunities , convey development prospects and career opportunities.
Participation in these events (which are free for participants) is mandatory. After participating in all selected events, the user is approved for the final selection process by the administrator.
A favorite professional field with a favorite sub-professional field can then be selected. This selection represents the result of the professional orientation measure. The participants then receive a personal, individual certificate of participation via the app with the data of the orientation measure and the selection decision made. Further offers then support you in finding concrete professional or academic development paths.
