The app is strong for planning Interrail travel with detailed route views and overall accessibility, and is valued for its planning clarity. However, it suffers from stability and usability problems: frequent crashes, slow loads, and a cumbersome navigation flow; inability to reserve seats in-app and inconsistent reservation guidance; loss of saved trips across devices with weak support; and occasional inaccurate route information. Users also want live-tracking. Improvements in stability, UX, data sync, and reliable, up-to-date guidance would significantly boost usefulness.

app sucks. or I should say the pass is worthless. Bought a global pass because of going to multiple countries and it was virtually useless. don't waste your money.

We will save a lot money using an interail pass BUT it is a VERY clunky and confusing process to plan trip, buy passes, separately buy seat reservations, and then after all this, navigate the interaction between the interail website and app (which you need to travel) to activate passes and individual travel days. Interrail seriously need to rethink the customer experience so it is possible to do everything in one place as the complexity will definitely put people off using!!
