LibreOffice Viewer is praised for being open-source, offline, ad-free, fast, and capable of viewing many document types (ODS, DOCX). However, editing features are experimental and unreliable; spreadsheet support is limited (no multi-sheet view, partial display). It lacks search, can be unstable or slow with large files, and has a dated UI. Overall, strong as a viewing tool with privacy advantages, but needs editing polish and better stability.

Really wanted to like this app but the app was really unusable. I am optimistic that perhaps in just over a year this app could be fixed to be somewhat practical
