ChickSense brings BioCV's sensors together: LitterGuard measures temperature and humidity in the litter and in the bird zone, BioBall tracks activity and occupancy, ChickScale reports bird weights. On your phone in the house, on the tablet in the office.

A LITTER RISK INDEX THAT EXPLAINS ITSELF

The Litter Risk Index estimates the risk of footpad lesions (pododermatitis) on a 0–100 scale, computed from the house climate. The app shows exactly what drives the number: the gap between litter temperature and the dew point, the relative humidity of the bottom air above the litter, and the deviation from the age-appropriate target temperature. Weighted by flock age, because risk peaks around grow-out day 14–35.

And when the value turns critical, you get more than a number. ChickSense names the next steps: replace wet or capped litter, check drinker lines for leaks, adjust ventilation, inspect the birds, then measure again.
